Parcels are received and delivered inside and outside Jordan through post offices across the Kingdom. For the outgoing parcels, they are packaged and weighed, and the sender’s and recipient addresses and telephone numbers are checked. A form, which states the content of the parcel, is placed on the parcel and filled by the sender. Then, a receipt is printed and given to the sender by the postal service employee containing the parcel number, method of delivery (land, air), weight and the country of destination. The parcel weight shall not exceed 30 kg.
As for incoming parcels, they are received by the nearest post office to the recipient’s address or mail box, if the recipient is subscribed in mail box service or to the headquarters if the parcel needs a customs inspection.
